Give the gift of Alty this Christmas!

Club director John Coyne has an update about a range of new products that will be on sale in the coming days and weeks.

Christmas shopping promises to be more onerous and challenging than ever this year, with so many of our leading stores shutting their doors and remaining closed for the duration of this latest lockdown. But don't worry, help is at hand. Whether you're compiling a wish list for Santa's attention or taking care of business yourself, the official Altrincham FC club shop has all the answers.

Such is the range of Alty-themed products on offer, from long-established favourites like replica shirts in three different designs and a variety of training tops to an exciting selection of new merchandise, you are sure to find the ideal gift for even the hardest-to-please relative or friend.

It's not just us blowing our own trumpet, either. Since the launch of AltyDirect.com back in August, we have been bowled over by the response from supporters who have backed the club fantastically, as always, and bombarded us with orders from all corners of the globe. At the last count, overseas orders had been shipped to Germany, Spain, Norway, the USA, Canada, Singapore and Australia, showcasing the support for Alty far and wide.

The feedback has invariably been positive, and it has been gratifying to see such enthusiasm for our newer product ranges, with artwork alongside other homeware items selling really well.

In the last few weeks, we have received enquiries about outerwear, as well as other winter items, such as scarves, gloves and hats. This is something we are finalising with our suppliers, and we should be in a position to add these new lines to the website imminently.

Our Christmas gifting range will be launching this month, with guaranteed delivery ahead of 20th December. Headlining the festive line-up will be our 2021 official club calendar, which is available to buy here. There is a limited print run, so do be sure to get your order placed early. Other items include the 2020/21 club tie, and for supporters of a certain vintage, a limited-edition framed print to commemorate our first FA Trophy success in 1978.

Speaking of vintage, what better way to toast the festive season than with a bottle of AFC 1981 Co-ordinates red wine which is available for pre-order. This Merlot Cabernet is a wonderfully fragrant wine, dominated by Merlot, with aromas of plums and black cherries over dark berry fruit flavours.

It's the least you deserve after working your way through our stock of gift ideas and finding something for everyone else. So, go on, pour yourself a glass, swirl it round and savour those aromas. Tempted? You can order yours here.

The co-ordinates range

As you may have seen on AltyDirect.com, we have been working on a new concept, centred around the co-ordinates of The J. Davidson Stadium and using our official pantone colour reference. The first product launching with be our co-ordinates mug, with full colour wraparound print, which will be part of our Christmas range.

Speaking about AltyDirect.com, club director John Coyne added: "When I arrived at the club last year, one of my remits was to look at our retail offering. Speaking to supporters on match day and at various events, it was clear that there was an appetite for new products in addition to what we've always had available, with a particular emphasis on homeware. The co-ordinates range is something we are keen to extend, with plans for stationery and clothing in the pipeline, but initially we wanted to solve the mug challenge - I have had at least two dozen emails asking if we have any available!"
