ALTRINCHAM make the trip to fellow play-off rivals AFC Telford United on Tuesday night as the Robins look to take advantage of their games in hand on the chasing pack.

Phil Parkinson’s men are fresh off a 7-0 drubbing of Alfreton on Saturday but they will know Telford have the potential to pose them plenty of problems.

The home side have had a strong season and are currently sat in the final play-off place as the season draws towards its close. At the weekend, they picked up an impressive away point against leaders Chorley. They were behind from the ninth minute and had Ellis Deeny sent off on 70 minutes. However, former Alty loanee Brendon Daniels scored an 87th minute penalty to clinch a point for them.

The Bucks have one of the top scorers in the league in Daniel Udoh, who has hit 19 goals so far this campaign and will be a player that the side will need to watch out for.

Last time out:

The Robins came away with a 3-1 victory when they last took on Telford back in December.

Josh Hancock's 17th minute opener was cancelled out by a goal from topscorer Daniel Udoh before half-time.

An open second half saw Connor Hampson restore the side's lead before Hancock sealed things four minutes from time with his second of the game.
