Altrincham face their final fixture of the regular season when they make the trip to Ashton United on Saturday afternoon (3pm).

With a place in the play-offs now confirmed following the 1-1 draw with Hereford United on Easter Monday, this will be a final chance for Phil Parkinson's men to take some momentum into the end of season promotion race.

Ashton have nothing but pride to play for after a difficult season that has seen them relegated from

the National League North, and manager Jody Banim will be looking to end the campaign on a high note.

With the play-offs on the horizon, Phil Parkinson will want a victory to make sure that the side go into those crunch matches with even more confidence.

Last time out:

The reverse fixture came at The J.Davidson Stadium back in October when the Robins came away with a 3-0 victory.

John Johnston gave the side the lead in the first half as Alty went into half time in the lead.

Johnston added his second of the game before Owen Dale added a third late on to seal a convincing victory.
