Alty's pre-season schedule comes to an end this evening with the visit of Salford City's developmental U23s squad.

Phil Parkinson and Neil Sorvel will be looking for a good performance with the season opener against Weymouth just three full days away. It's a final opportunity for their players to stake claims for positions in a squad that will contest Alty's first National League fixture since April 2016.

This past Saturday saw the quintessential game of two halves as the Robins fought back from two-down, scoring two goals in the second half to draw 2-2 at AFC Fylde.

AFC Fylde were outstanding in the first-half and deservedly led after '45 with goals from Willoughby and Haughton. Alty, full of resilience and determination, grabbed one back when Matty Kosylo's long range effort deflected and looped over Chris Neal. Just two minutes later, Max Clayton got his head to a Ceesay shot - changing the direction of the effort for the better.

Listen to Phil Parkinson's interview following the 2-2 draw.

It remains to be seen whether Altrincham will run with a potential 'first choice XI' for tonight's game, or if they will use the opportunity to rotate and give final chances to impress to some members of the squad.

Alty will again be without Dan Mooney as he continues to recover from his ankle injury.

82' Hampson almost has Alty's sixth, a low-driven cross from Densmore finds Hampson at the back post but his sliding effort goes over. (5-1)
61' More changes for the Robins. Thompson, Hampson, Densmore and Miller replace Gould, Senior, White and Ceesay. (5-1)
55' Kosylo involved in a goal once again - this time weaving through the Salford defence to set up Peers for an easy second goal of the game. (5-1)
46' No sooner is the second half underway than Alty grab a fourth - and it's Kosylo once again! (4-1)
45' Moult, Hulme and Sutton replace Williams, Clayton and Hannigan for the second half. (3-1)
HT: Altrincham 3-1 Salford Dev
44' The visitors claim one back from the spot, converted by Liam Humbles. (3-1)
36' And there's a third! This time it's Clayton on the scoresheet for Alty. (3-0)
30' A second for Alty! Kosylo goes through and finishes calmly into the bottom corner. Really tidy finish. (2-0)
15' Plenty of Alty possession, a second looks likely - and as I type, the Robins have a header cleared off the line. Hannigan got his head to a corner but it was defended fantastically. (1-0)
8' Tom Peers opens the scoring for Alty with a low, driven finish. (1-0)
1' We are underway here at The J Davidson Stadium. It's good to be back. Head to to watch tonight's game on Alty TV LIVE. (0-0)
