2018/19 fixtures are out!

The fixture list for our return to the National League North for the 2018-19 season has thrown up some exciting fixture, starting at the J Davidson Stadium with the visit of Leamington on Saturday August 4th.  August sees seven league matches in total with Saturday fixtures at Spennymoor and Darlington and at home to Boston United.  Our midweek games in the month include a mouth-watering home game with FC United of Manchester on Tuesday August 14th, and a visit to Southport as well as Guiseley at home on August Bank Holiday Monday.

The Christmas period sees a Boxing day visit to Stockport County, welcoming them back to Moss Lane on the New Years’ Day.  We will be at home to Alfreton Town on Non-League Day Saturday October 13th, and we hope to create the same positive vibe as we managed last year.

We have back to back away trips to Hereford and Chester in November followed by York City at the J Davidson; with the return fixtures taking place in March (Chester and York again back to back) and Easter Monday (Hereford).  Other holiday fixtures include the visit to Guiseley on Saturday December 29th and a visit to Nuneaton Borough on Easter Saturday, as part of a run in that sees us entertain Hereford the following Saturday before finishing the regular season at Ashton United on April 27th.

Our FA Cup campaign will kick off in the Second Qualifying Round on Saturday 22nd September and our FA Trophy opener will be in the Third Qualifying Round on Saturday November 24th.

There is a lot to look forward to and August 4th is fast approaching, so let’s all get to the J Davidson Stadium for the visit of Leamington.

Have a great summer!
