Altrincham v Brackley Town match preview

Email

ALTY face Brackley Town at The J.Davidson Stadium on Saturday afternoon (3pm) as the Robins look to continue their good run of form.

Phil Parkinson's side are now unbeaten in their last four games after Josh Hancock's late goal saw them win 1-0 at York City, and the Robins have put together some momentum at a vital moment in the season.

They will be looking to keep this going against a Brackley team that are also enjoying a terrific season and are currently two places and one point above Altrincham in fourth place.

Kevin Wilkin's side have won their last four games and beat top of the table Stockport County 1-0 at the weekend, so this is certainly one of the tougher league fixtures that the Robins have on paper before the end of the campaign.

Last time out:

The Robins will be looking to do a league double over Brackley after coming away with a 2-1 victory when the sides met in the reverse fixture back in December.

Simon Richman gave Altrincham the lead but that was quickly cancelled out by an equaliser from Brackley's Glenn Walker two minutes later as the teams went in level.

Andy White restored the side's lead a few minutes after the break and that proved to be the winner as Phil Parkinson's side held on for an important three points.
