Curzon Ashton v Altrincham match preview

ALTRINCHAM make the trip to Curzon Ashton on Saturday afternoon (3pm) as they look to bounce back in their play-off push.

The Robins lost 2-0 at Spennymoor Town on Tuesday night and have had a slight dip in form as of late, but manager Phil Parkinson was happier with the performance on Tuesday night and is confident the lads can remain in the promotion push come the end of the campaign.

Curzon Ashton are another side that still have a chance of sneaking into the play-off positions they and are currently five points off the Robins, so the game at the weekend will be a big one for them too.

Ashton lost 2-0 at Brackley Town last weekend so manager Mark Bradshaw, who took charge in November 2018 after spending 12 years at the club in a number of other roles, will be looking for a positive result.

Last time out:

The two sides last met in September at The J.Davidson Stadium and it was Curzon that came away with the three points on that occasion.

Goals either side of the break from Connor Hughes and Oliver Crankshaw saw the Nash get the better of one of their local rivals.

Admission prices:

Adults: £12.00

Concessions (over-65): £6.00

Students: £6.00

Under 16s: Free

Supporter information:

The local trip to Curzon is a fairly straight forward one for Robins fans, with fans having the option of driving and using public transport.

Anyone driving to the game should take notice of the postcode OL7 9HG for their sat navs.

The Metrolink is a great option, with fans being able to take the Piccadilly or Bury line to Cornbrook and then changing onto the Ashton-under-lyne line from there. Ashton West is the stop that is closest to the ground and is less than 10 minutes' walk away.
