Highly-rated teenage striker Lewis Salmon is to continue his development with another loan move after joining Northern Premier League Stalybridge Celtic until the New Year.

Altrincham’s 18-year old forward signed a contract at The J.Davidson Stadium last November that runs until the end of next season after impressing manager Phil Parkinson with his forceful all-round game and eye for goal.

He underlined his potential on loan at Trafford last season and was among the Northern Premier League Division One North West’s leading scorers on 12 goals when the campaign was abandoned due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Now he has the chance to carry on progressing after signing for Stalybridge on loan until January 31st, and everyone at Altrincham wishes him well and hopes he benefits from an extended spell in the NPL’s top flight.
