Email

Thanks to his brace against Leamington, Jordan Hulme makes the National League North Team of the Weekend. After scoring 26 goals last season in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division, Jordan continued where he left off by equalising twice for the Robins in the 2-2 draw. The full team is as follows:

Goalkeeper:

Matthew Gould (Spennymoor)

Defenders:

Adam Blakeman (Chorley), Theo Street (AFC Telford), Danny Livesey (Chester)

Midfielders:

Nathan Arnold (Boston United), Ben McKenna (Bradford Park Avenue AFC), Paul Turnbull (Stockport County), Dan Bradley (Kidderminster)

Strikers:

Harry White (Hereford), Jordan Hulme (Altrincham), Matt Warburton (Stockport County)

Substitutes:

Scott Leather (Chorley)

Chris Rowney (Curzon Ashton)

Aaron Chalmers (Ashton United)

Eliot Richards (Hereford)

Jack Edwards (Leamington)

Manager of the Weekend:

Stockport County’s Jim Gannon just pips AFC Telford boss Gavin Cowan and Curzon’s John Flanagan. A five-star derby win on opening day takes some beating.
