Ryan Colclough held his nerve to fire home an 86th-minute penalty and seal a dramatic Vanarama National League victory for Altrincham in their first home game of the season at The J.Davidson Stadium.

Twice trailing to a lively Dover side, Alty roared back each time and deservedly took the points when Colclough picked himself up from being tripped in the area to drill the resulting spot-kick unerringly inside the left-hand post.

It sparked jubilant scenes on the packed Golf Road terraces behind the Dover goal and was the perfect finale to a thoroughly entertaining game, watched by a bumper crowd of 1,871. Look out for a full match report here on the club's official website later.
