The sense of anticipation has been growing ever since Puma were unveiled as the club’s new commercial partners, and Altrincham are delighted to announce the moment is now almost upon us for finally getting your hands on the team’s new-look colours for the upcoming 2021-22 season.

From 9am tomorrow morning, Alty’s online shop will be open for business and ready to take your orders for the return of traditional red and white stripes for the home kit, the ever-popular yellow and blue look for the away strip or training gear items.

All three varieties are now in stock, and if there was a frisson of excitement among club staff when Puma’s special delivery was unpacked, we hope it is felt by supporters when you peruse the range and place your first order in the knowledge that, in most cases, it will be despatched without delay.

Bolster the budget and join the Patrons Scheme now!

The only caveat there is that more sizes are coming in with each imminent delivery, and it is hoped that, within the next couple of weeks, we will have a full complement to cover all requirements.

Your patience is appreciated while we continue building up stock levels, but there is plenty on the shelves as it is and we felt it was important to make it available to you without further delay.

Indeed, we have a wide selection available right now of home and away kits, in adult and junior sizes, as well as an initial range of training wear, and we are delighted that everything is in place ahead of schedule after last year’s launch took place at the end of August.

We are confident that what's on offer will be to your liking and that the images will still be fresh in your mind from the video we commissioned at the start of this month showing Matty Kosylo, among others, modelling the smart new look.

In case a reminder is needed, here it is:

Looks good, doesn’t it, and if you are the sort of shopper who prefers to see the merchandise close up, rather than relying on a computer screen, we are catering for you by organising a special pop-up store in the newly-refurbished Sponsors’ Lounge on three separate dates next month.

As well as examining the range of kits, it will be a chance to appreciate the work that has gone into making the lounge a facility to be proud of and to see how the drainage and pitchworks are progressing.

Refreshments will be provided to enhance the shopping experience, while director John Coyne and Head of Partnerships and Sponsorship Sam Mackenzie will be on hand to deal with any queries and it is hoped manager Phil Parkinson will also make an appearance.

Dates for those three July events will be published here on the website as soon as they have been finalised, but each will provide a prime opportunity for fans to browse the range and buy replica kits, training wear, season tickets and hospitality and sponsorship packages, while protocols for matters such as entry and exit will be in place each time.

It will also be possible for supporters to have any name and number printed on shirts purchased, including previous online orders. In the interests of catching them young and recruiting to the Alty cause as early as possible, baby and toddler kits will be available later this summer, as part of a leisurewear range that will go all the way up to size XXXXL!

For now, while we wait for those little and large versions to roll off the production line, sizes start at age 5-6 and go all the way through to XXL, with John Coyne commenting: ‘We are delighted to be launching the new kit this early, ahead of pre-season and the school holidays. We will have plenty of stock over the coming weeks, so if you don't see your size immediately, fear not - the stock will be arriving imminently.’

So, take another look through the brand-new range of Puma-produced Alty kit, a must-have fashion accessory for any Robins fan, and don’t forget - we’re taking orders from 9 o’clock tomorrow morning.
