Altrincham co-chairman Bill Waterson has provided the following update:
We are delighted to let you know that Trafford Borough Council have given the green light for the return of fans to The J. Davidson Stadium for the last three games of the season, against Yeovil Town, Eastleigh and Torquay United.
We have been granted a capacity of 1,231, which breaks down as 460 standing at the Golf Road end, in front of the Community Sports Hall and on Pop Side North, 515 standing on the Chequers end and the Pop Side South and 256 seated in the Main Stand and Family Stand.
However, after carefully considering the paramount importance of spectator safety and the need to test our procedures to gauge their effectiveness in maintaining social distancing, we are limiting the attendance against Yeovil to 600. It is our hope and expectation that we will then be able to accommodate the permitted figure of 1,231 for the following two games.
Purchases by season ticket holders and patrons are still being processed, but it is hoped the remaining tickets for the Yeovil game will go on general sale later this afternoon. Look out for details on the club's website and social media channels.
Please note, when buying a ticket, you will have to select which part of the ground you wish to watch the game from, and your ticket will then tell you which gate to enter through and what time to arrive at.
