Noel White B.E.M., F.A.I.A | R.I.P.


Altrincham Football Club is deeply saddened to hear of the death of its former Chairman, Noel White, who passed away in hospital, aged 89, at 06.14am on Sunday June 30th, following a long illness borne with his usual determination & resilience.

Noel White was Chairman from 1967-1986, overseeing Altrincham's most successful period in its history, before becoming a director & subsequently Chairman of Liverpool Football Club.

He was one of the five founding architects of the F.A. Premier League  & was involved with the Football Association for over 30 years from 1976, ,chairing the F.A.'s International Committee for 14 years from 1994-2008.
