Our new Academy announces latest 'Trials Day'

Email

Altrincham FC's Elite Football Academy has announced its latest Trials Day, the latest wave in a recruitment drive to add to the growing squad.

The formation of the Academy was announced in February 2020. In partnership with Interactive Sports, the aim is to develop high quality young players and to develop a player pathway to the first team and beyond. This is a significant investment for the football club over the long term, but with benefits that would far outweigh this cost once an Academy player breaks through into the first team.

The Academy offers students the opportunity to participate in an elite football programme, whilst still in full-time study, working towards formal qualifications which would subsequently allow a progression to university.  The Altrincham FC Academy team will play weekly, with a goal of achieving membership of the National League Football Academy in the short term.

Benefits of the programme for the student:

  • Pathway to professional/ Semi-professional football
  • Access to high quality coaching
  • Official match and training kit
  • An Individual Player Development Plan
  • Experienced, highly qualified and professional staff – both football and education

We are accepting applications from current year 11 students only, and trialists must register before the event. Attendance is by invitation only.

Date: Friday, 30th October 2020

Time and venue on invitation.

To pre-register, please forward your 'football CV' to [email protected]
