Raise a glass to two top bands at Alty's annual beer festival

Email

Altrincham have struck a chord with music fans in the area by landing two highly-rated bands for their ever-popular Beer Festival at The J.Davidson Stadium next month.

While the list of local brewers supplying the usual wide range of ales is still being finalised, the club are delighted to announce they have secured the services of two in-demand bands for their eighth annual festival, which runs from Friday, May 3rd to Monday, May 6th.

The Retrobeats, a four-piece line-up who specialise in 50’s 60’s & 70’s music and regularly headline at packed venues in the area, will be performing in the Community Sports Hall on Friday night, while Green Hot Clover, widely regarded as the number 1 band on the Manchester Irish scene, will take centre stage in the hall on Sunday night.

There will be other attractions throughout the course of the weekend, and details will be published on this website as they become available, but make a date now for The Retrobeats and Green Hot Clover, two live sessions that will have music fans flocking to The J.Davidson Stadium.
