"Oh Joe Robbins is not bobbins says Phil & all the supporters"!

Altrincham have signed midfielder, Joe Robbins, from Crewe Alexandra on a month's Youth loan.

The 18 year old signed his first professional contract with the Railwaymen in June & has graduated to the U23s from the U18s at Gresty Road.

Altrincham manager, Phil Parkinson said:-

"We are always monitoring teams that play similarly to ourselves & Crewe is a perfect fit in that respect. Joe caught my eye massively in an U23s game against Coventry City a month ago.He is a talented on the ball midfielder who dominated that game. This is his first loan move, so he will need to make the step-up, but it's a great opportunity for him & fulfills a need that we have got in terms of our injuries to midfielders & keeps our strong links with Crewe going. I am really grateful to David Artell, who has allowed us to bring Joe to Alty at such short notice."

Joe trained with his new colleagues last night at the club's new Thursday night training venue at Reaseheath College & is available for Saturday's game at Dover..
