Robins Review - required reading!

A new season and a new challenge for Phil Parkinson's Evo-Stik Northern Premier League champions tomorrow as they step up to the Vanarama National League North with an opening fixture against Leamington at The J.Davidson Stadium. Some things don't change, though. The Robins Review matchday programme, for instance. It's still on sale inside the ground before kick off and still essential reading, packed with news, views, information and illustrations, as well as facts and figures about a pre-season programme that finished against Salford City last Saturday and the list of fixtures ahead, back in the National League. Skipper Jake Moult uses his Captain's Chat column to describe the mood among the players at the outset of a new campaign, including a word about the new faces in the camp, a reflection on pre-season and a plea to supporters for more of the vocal backing that helped make last season so successful. In his column, From The Boardroom, director Bill Waterson provides an insight into the club's expectations on the pitch and an update on how plans for improvements off it are gathering pace. There's Match Action - a collection of fine action shots from the Salford game by club photographer Michael Ripley - and so much more besides in the first Robins Review of the season, on sale inside the ground tomorrow.
