It’s been almost 200 days since we have seen live Football at the J Davidson Stadium with access for fans, families and the community and are delighted to invite you along to our FIRST home game of the season for the Ladies Section in the Women’s FA Cup.
Our Ladies Section was launched in 2011/2012 season under the Chairman Grahame Rowley in partnership with AFC Community Sports, the joint venture pioneered the initiative after it was identified that there was a growing interest in the female sport and an implosion of girls joining our Junior Section of the Club. The First Team compete in the North West Women’s South Division League with a Development squad playing in South Cheshire, this is identified for those players U16 to become exposed to open age football, showing a pathway from Junior to the First Team.
The Ladies continue to be supported by Altrincham Football Club Community Sports Ltd, a registered charity. The charity works with Schools and External Partners delivering outreach programmes across the borough, its aim is to provide and promote inclusivity. The Community Trust Company enjoys a fantastic base with a Community Sports Hall which provides a hub for the local community to engage in cradle to grave activities and function hire.
Our Robinettes will meet Northwich Vixens in the Women’s FA Cup. Preliminary Round at The J.Davidson on Sunday 20th
